Welcome to The Sherman Preservation League, The C.S. Roberts House Museum, and The Sherman Preservation League Press. We are excited that you decided to visit and hope that you will find us both informative and interesting. The Sherman Preservation League was founded in 1980 with a mission to educate our community and other interested parties about the Historical properties in and around the Sherman area. and to encourage the preservation of our architectural heritage. We continue in our education program by inviting school children and adults alike to tour our beautiful Eastlake-Stick Style Historic House Museum, the C.S. Roberts House, built in 1896. We are open on Sundays from 1 to 4 for tours, but are also available for group tours or private tours by appointment.
The Sherman Preservation League is proud to offer a full calendar of events, as well as other programs such as a paint program in which we offer area homeowners a grant to purchase paint for their historical property. The League sponsors many activities throughout the year and our Press publishes important books of local and national interest. The C.S. Roberts House is also available for rentals. If you are interested in any of these programs, please do not hesitate to contact us by phone or regular mail.
Once again, Thank you for stopping by.
