Authentic Restoration
-
No major alterations to the building can have been made, i.e. removal of major
architectural elements from the original structure.
- No major additions have been made to the structure.
- The structure should have been restored as closely as possible to the
appearance it had at some previous point in time. This implies an active effort
to reproduce architectural features that have been removed.

 |
|
Preservation - One Story and Multi-Story

|
Adaptive
Reuse
- The building is being used for something other than the original intent of
the builder.
- This can involve a sensitive rehabilitation that retains much of a
building's original character, or it can involve extensive remolding.
|
 |
|
|
Merit Award
- Building can be a house, business or
out building.
- The structure is deserving of
recognition for work done in the fields
of renovation, rehabilitation or
restoration that has not been recognized
in one of the previous categories.
